labradorite blue

A dark charcoal-to-black stone with deep teal and olive undertones, cut by a brecciated structure of large angular crystalline chunks. The defining characteristic is scattered patches of intense labradorescence — iridescent flashes of electric blue and cyan that shift with the viewing angle — separated by thin pale cream and mint hairline fissures. Polished to a high-gloss, mirror-like surface.
